Progressive channel stages ought to be endeavored to conquer any disparity between item arrangement and market prerequisites (Christopher, 2005). Client prerequisites of a couple of units are at difference with provider necessities of large scale manufacturing. From a small scale perspective, an association's conveyance choices are intended to join, supplement, or adjust those of different firms, so as to shape channels of appropriation that the best. Since business sectors are dynamic, the open door for new mixes is constantly accessible. Channels are hence utilized by organizations to defeat hindrances. These boundaries incorporate the detachment of reality among makers and markets, the expenses of moving merchandise, the interchanges obstructions among makers and clients of items, and the division of interest (Christopher , 2005). From a large scale perspective, channels change gradually. New dissemination outlets will in general supplement, as opposed to supplant, existing ones. Market chains, for instance, don't dispense with the autonomous vendors; rebate houses don't wipe out retail establishments; and incorporated producers don't wipe out wholesalers (Stroh, 2006). Or maybe, they advance the elective channels accessible, are changed thus, and sunk into a specialty in the dispersion structure. The Notion of Prophethood in Islam

Just when times are at their generally violent, when the individuals of Earth arrive at a state of living that is viewed as wicked and conflicting, is there a requirement for a change or change back to a prudent way of life. It is confirm in the considerations and conventions of various religions of the world that this change, this upheaval as it might likewise be alluded to, is realized by a message. Obviously, a message, particularly one that is intended to achieve change and unrest, won't be heard without investigation on the deliverer of the message, the delivery person. In the monotheistic religions of the world, Islam specifically, accentuation is set on these errand people as bearers of truth in the midst of falsehood or murkiness, a supernaturally enlivened human who goes about as a delegate among God and the individuals to whom the message is brought. Such couriers are called Prophets. This piece will examine the thought of Prophethood in Islam, being a Prophet, and the comparative qualities among the conditions of the Prophets. Islam puts a significance of the most noteworthy degree on the monotheistic message it conveys, that there is just a single God and no other. Along these lines, extraordinary accentuation is set on the ones to convey this message, the Prophets. Notwithstanding, for an individual to be viewed as a Prophet in Islam, there are sure specifications that they need to meet. The idea of a Prophet is commonly a supernaturally motivated human who goes about as a delegate among God and others, yet more to it is that every single Prophet gets their message legitimately from God and not from others, not even from different Prophets. Be that as it may, regardless of not taking in of the message from different Prophets, the message being conveyed is the equivalent among every single Prophet. This guarantees the genuineness of the message that every Prophet gets and obviously shows the connection between the Prophet and God to the beneficiaries of the message. Be that as it may, there is much further disparity underneath the title of Prophet. In Islam, there are commonly two degrees of Prophethood, Nabi, and Rasul. The contrast between a Nabi and a Rasul is fundamentally that a Rasul gets message from God, yet is charged to proliferate it. A Rasul may likewise be a Prophet that brings God’s sacred text and they are to reestablish Divine Law or Sharia too. A Nabi then again is a human who brings updates on the message, however the message that each brings isn't really widespread. Both a Nabi and a Rasul must be an unadulterated and commendable individual so as to hear God’s message, in this manner it tends to be seen that every single Prophet is a Nabi as a matter of course, where a Rasul is a Prophet of more obligation than that of a Nabi. Consequently, it effectively perceptible that all Prophets have likenesses, however there are a not many that stand apart among others. Of the 25 Prophets referenced in the Qur’an, there are 5 significant Prophets that stand apart among others. These Prophets are the Prophet Noah (AS), the Prophet Abraham (AS), the Prophet Moses (AS), the Prophet Jesus (AS), and the Prophet Muhammad (SAWS). While their names show up in a few entries in the Qur’an, there is a specific entry that makes reference to every one of them: He has appointed for you of religion what He urged upon Noah [AS] and that which We have uncovered to you, [O Muhammad (SAWS)], and what We ordered upon Abraham [AS] and Moses [AS] and Jesus [AS] †to build up the religion and not be partitioned therein†¦ The Holy Qur’an, Translated by Sahih International, 42:13 This stanza tends to the Prophet Muhammad (SAWS) specifically. It likens the message that was brought to the Prophet Muhammad (SAWS) to the messages that were brought to the Prophets Noah (AS), Abraham (AS), Moses (AS) and Jesus (AS), setting up that the religion every Prophet was attempting to engender was the equivalent for every one of them: Islam. For instance, the message that the Prophet Jesus (AS) had brought were brought to a people that had lost their direction, however that message was not so much unique either, having been communicated before in some structure. It was additionally said that Jesus (AS) didn't so much lecture a message as he was a message. Likewise, the behaviors of the Prophet Muhammad (SAWS) were said to contain a message themselves: There has positively been for you in the Messenger of Allah [SWT] an incredible example for anybody whose expectation is in Allah [SWT] and the Last Day and [who] recalls Allah [SWT] frequently. The Holy Qur’an, Translated by Sahih International, 33:21 This section prompts the individuals who put stock in Allah (SWT) of the examples or the way of life of the Prophet Muhammad (SAWS) and the message that can be found thus. It can in this manner be seen that the Prophet Muhammad (SAWS) would be the following in line as an Abrahamic Prophet because of his likenesses to the Prophet Jesus (AS). In any case, in spite of the various likenesses between the Prophet Muhammad (SAWS) and the Prophets that were his forerunners, there is one certainty that separates him from the others, and that will b e that the Prophet Muhammad (SAWS) is viewed as the Khatam al-Anbiya, or the Seal of the Prophets. In the Holy Qur’an, it expresses the accompanying: â€Å"Muhammad [SAWS] isn't the dad of [any] one of your men, however [he is] the Messenger of Allah [SWT] and last of the prophets. What's more, ever is Allah [SWT], for goodness' sake, Knowing† (The Holy Qur’an, 33:40). It is notable that the Prophet Muhammad (SAWS) didn't leave any enduring male beneficiaries, his three children with Khadija (RA) too his child with Mariya (RA) having died youthful, and his four little girls additionally having died in early stages (Textual Sources for the Study of Islam, p47). The section relates that reality by recognizing that there could be no immediate relative of the Prophet Muhammad (SAWS), in this manner nobody could profess to be a Prophet by professing to be plunged from him. Much more along these lines, the Prophet Muhammad (SAWS) portrayed his own status as the Seal of the Prophets: My similarity among all the Prophets resembles the similarity of a man fabricating a house. He is capable at it, he does it well, and he forgets about a solitary block. At that point the individuals start to circumvent the structure, wondering about it, and state: â€Å"It would be finished notwithstanding this brick†. Undoubtedly, in the structure, I am the spot for that block. Printed Sources for the Study of Islam, p48 This statement advances more tendencies that the Prophet Muhammad (SAWS) was not just another Abrahamic Prophet (the other two being Prophet Jesus (AS) and Prophet Moses (AS)), however the last Prophet after whom there would be no other. Consequently, the idea of Prophethood in Islam is unmistakably characterized and separated, with all Prophets being a Nabi and a chosen few being a Rasul. The Prophet Muhammad (SAWS) has likewise been plainly settled as an Abrahamic Prophet and the Seal of the Prophets in the Qur’an.

Thomas More G.D. Ramsay. A Saint in the City: Thomas More at Mercers Hall, English Historical Review. April, 1982. 267-288. Attorney. Arbitrator. Official. Humanist. Researcher. Mores scholarly expertise, when joined with his sharp character, made him Englands most adaptable local official in the mid sixteenth century. The article, A Saint in the City: Thomas More at Mercers Hall, recounts to the tale of Mores ascend to power and his job in Englands exchange approach. Brought into the world the child of a legal advisor in 1478, More was educated at St. Anthonys and afterward filled in as a worker for Cardinal Morton, diocese supervisor of Canterbury. Morton consequently sent More to learn at Canterbury College. After a short remain at the school, More came back to London, turning into an individual from Lincolns Inn. This was the start of Mores incredible legitimate profession. In 1504, More started his administration in Parliament, which sat at Westminster. From the earliest starting point, Mores abilities were perceived by the pioneers of the nation: King Henry VII and his priest, Edmund Dudley. In 1509, More was conceded participation into the special Mercers Company. More was come back to another parliament in 1510 and was raised to the situation of burgess of the city. In September of that year, More took the situation of under-sheriff, proceeding to follow in the lawful strides of his acclaimed father. This position involved showing up in th e illustrious lawcourts for the city when it was occupied with case and sitting as judge in the Sheriffs Court. While these different positions add to Mores virtuoso, it was his work for the Mercers that presented to him his most prominent popularity. The Mercers were included predominantly from two gatherings of the material business: the Merchant Adventurers, shippers of fabric to the Netherlands, and the Staplers. Struggle between those two gatherings originally created in 1493, when an aftermath between Henry VII and the place of Burgundy caused the Englishmen who offered materials in the Netherlands to migrate to the security of Calais. Grinding between the two organizations suffered until it went to a top in 1512. That year, each organization was brought to talk its case before the lords board in the Star Chamber. The committee permitted eight delegates from both the Merchant Adventurers and the Staplers to talk. The rundown of speakers for the Merchant Adventurers incorporated the legislative leader of their cooperation, two different Mercers, a haberdasher, a skinner, a draper, a food merchant, and a taylor. The rundown of speakers for the Staplers included seven fleece dealers and Thomas More. It was clear all through the gatherings that More was the most well-spoken and influential individual from either gathering of delegates. Mores objective was to determine the distinctions of the two organizations. The endeavors of more were met with progress, as the two gatherings assuaged and clashes between the two would be non-existent for quite a long while. Mores arranging aptitudes were required again by England in 1510. This time, universal exchange was the focal point of occasions. A contention with the Netherlands resulted in the city of Antwerp. The assortments of customs and the absence of warehousing space in the city were the wellspring of the issues. A Pensionary was assembled in to referee the conference between the English authorities and those from the Netherlands. The gatherings occurred at Mercers Hall in London. Since the Pensionary couldn't communicate in English, the arrangements were in Latin. Records of the minutes from this gathering show that, by and by, More overwhelmed the exchanges. More served in numerous limits all through the gathering, going about as both a mediator and as a translator. The consequences of the gathering stood vigorously in Englands favor. The Pensionary guaranteed that the garments armadas from England would cruise openly from the Thames River to Antwerp for the following store. For the following five years, More proceeded with his work as a legal advisor and a city official. Britain, be that as it may, by and by required his aptitudes in the spring of 1515. As Society Likes It A Heteronormative Ending to a Homosexual Play - Literature Essay Samples

From the viewpoint of our world today, Shakespeare’s era seems about as conservatively-minded as a society could get. Shakespeare completely demolishes this notion, with his progressive suggestions of a normalcy in homosexuality and transgenderism in his comedy, As You Like It. He first introduces these differing sexualities in depicting a homosexual love between Celia and Rosalind, followed by Orlando and Ganymede—Rosalind’s male disguise. In doing so, Shakespeare also brings about the question of Rosalind as an independent character, or if she is truly independent at all. More important, though, is the epilogue. Just as Shakespeare forces the audience and the characters into a realm of heteronormativity, Rosalind’s epilogue reminds us of the homosexuality that we had previously accepted, before it was overshadowed by the relationships that society had deemed to be correct. Rosalind’s epilogue leaves us wondering if the patriarchal, heteronormative society that Shakespeare presents by the end of the play is the ideal one, or if, rather, a society in which all sexualities and genders are accepted is ideal—we are left yearning for a transgendered Rosalind and the homosexual relationships presented previously. This conflict of genders and sexualities that the epilogue refers to is brought into question in both Celia’s and Orlando’s loves of Rosalind and Ganymede, respectively. Celia, in the first act, is suggested to have some quasi-lesbian feelings towards Rosalind. Not only does she declare to Rosalind that â€Å"thou and I am one,† but when Rosalind asks Celia her thoughts on love, Celia says to â€Å"love no man in earnest† (1.3.97, 1.2.26). This latter statement raises the question of whether or not Celia means to only love women â€Å"in good earnest,† if she will not love men this way, explaining her seemingly-romantic love for Rosalind. Through our prior love of Rosalind and Celia, and their close bond, Shakespeare makes us keen on the idea of a lesbian relationship between them, or at least homosexual feelings on Celia’s part. This then leads us to a better acceptance of homosexuality for the entirety of the play. Similarly, Rosalindâ€⠄¢s epilogue is reminiscent of an acceptance of homosexual love. This is evidenced in the male actor (playing Rosalind) saying that if he were a woman, he would â€Å"kiss as many of you as had beards that pleased [him],† suggesting an acceptance of transgender or homosexual feelings on the part of Shakespeare, through the actor (Epilogue, line 17). The actor’s homoerotic feelings being paralleled to Rosalind’s are there intentionally—they reinforce the idea of a normalcy in homosexuality and transgenderism. In turn, the epilogue leaves us dissatisfied at the rather heteronormative ending, in which Shakespeare gives the ending that society wants, not what is best for the characters, or even what society should be openly accepting of. Shakespeare, rather, is touching on the character’s having to hide their homosexual feelings—here, Celia hiding her lesbian feelings toward Rosalind—much like homosexual tendencies were forced to be hidde n from society. Although Shakespeare rightly suggests a normalcy in homoerotic and transgender feelings, he seems to only allow these feelings to be openly shown through men—in this case, Orlando and Rosalind’s actor. Perhaps Shakespeare is suggesting, once again, not only the disparity in power between hetero- and homosexual sexualities, but also between men and women. Parallel to Rosalind’s submissiveness to men in the epilogue, women in this play are not openly allowed to share their homoerotic and transgender feelings like their male counterparts. To this extent, Shakespeare reiterates homosexuality in Orlando’s romantic interest in Ganymede. Although he is initially enchanted by Rosalind, his love for â€Å"Rosalind† transcends to his later love for Ganymede. Perhaps the most revealing instance in the play is the scene in which Rosalind and Celia openly discuss Orlando’s kissing. Rosalind, crying to Celia, says that Orlando’s â€Å"kisses are Judas’s own children† and that â€Å"his kissing is as full of sanctity as the touch of holy bread† (3.4.9-14). Because Orlando and Rosalind were not shown kissing at court, it can be justly assumed that Orlando and Ganymede had just kissed. This implies a side of Orlando not plainly known to us before, one in which Orlando harbors same-sex feelings, and, moreover, is allowed to act on them. This leaves us with the question of why, unlike Celia, he’s allowed more freedom in acting upon his homosexual feelings. Also brought into question is why Shakespeare only allows the male actor to allude to homosexual feelings, rather than having Rosalind say that she would kiss every woman in the audience. Instead, she is obliged to almost apologize for being there, as it â€Å"is not the fashion to see the lady the epilogue† (Epilogue, ll. 1-2). In this regard, Shakespeare seems to be critiquing the lack of power that women have, doubly so as both a woman and as a woman with homosexual feelings. If it’s assumed to be correct that the audience is somewhat disappointed in the ending, then the epilogue is the key part in which we truly feel for both the characters’ lack of power in their sexuality, and also the lack of female power. The epilogue leaves us yearning for the power that Rosalind had as Ganymede, and envious of the liberty that the men in the play easily and openly enjoy. If the relationships between Rosalind/Celia and Orlando/Ganymede are the cause of our acceptance of varying sexualities, then it is the ending and the epilogue which create our cause for concern. Rosalind, throughout the play and epilogue, plays a critical, yet versatile role. Not only is she the crux for non-heteronormativity in the play, but she is also the character through which the others can express their less-than-heterosexual feelings throughout the play. It is Rosalind, though, who is not able to govern herself how she wants. In the end, she is obliged to take the heteronormative role that society wants her to take, once again conveying the lack of power that women, homosexuals, and transgenders have. The epilogue, too, leaves open for interpretation the character that Rosalind is embodying at that time. There is no satisfying answer to this question, though: dressed as Rosalind, we would be disappointed in the character not having the freedom to identify as Ganymede; dressed as Ganymede, she would still be demeaned to a status below men. The epilogue, in its allowance of the reader to interpret how Rosalind is dressed, serves to show the lack of power that women have, and leaves us desiring for Rosalind to have more power, to fully be Ganymede, as Ganymede afforded her such liberties. Rosalind admits in the epilogue that â€Å"It is not the fashion to see the lady the epilogue,† demeaning herself to a status below men (Epilogue, 1). This attitude of Rosalind’s starkly contrasts the Ganymede side of her, who had â€Å"a swashing and martial outside,† but yet now is meek and inferior (1.3.118). Perhaps Shakespeare, in showing this dynamic, wants us to be disapp ointed, and somewhat off-put, by the character we see before us, so different from the Ganymede from before. The epilogue depicts the lack of power that the people other than the non-heterosexual males in Shakespeare’s time actually had. The audience is left wondering at this, hungry for the powerful Rosalind that we had seen before. Though the play acts upon our willingness to love the characters through whichever gender or sexuality they (or the play) offer to the audience, it begs the question of whether or not this was actually effective. Did the audience view this play the way it seems he has intended it, or did they simply take it as a joke about differing sexualities, rather than a critique on our heteronormative society? Being that this play was performed hundreds of years ago, it seems more accurate that the audience could have misconstrued Shakespeare’s meaning. Perhaps rather than the ending being a critique, they saw it as the â€Å"correct† ending. If so, Shakespeare’s words and suggestions were lost on a generation which could have been the starting point of a new, more progressive England.

GRE vs. MCAT Similarities, Differences, Which Test Is Easier

Choosing the best standardized test for graduate studies and your future career is a major step. Understanding the differences between the GRE and the MCAT will help you make an informed decision. The GRE, or Graduate Record Examinations, is a more general standardized test that is accepted for many different types of master’s degree programs and doctoral programs, primarily in the U.S. and Canada. The GRE General Test is written and administered by the Educational Testing Service (ETS). The exam tests students’ aptitude in verbal reasoning, quantitative reasoning, and analytical writing. The Medical College Admission Test, or MCAT, is the â€Å"gold standard† for admission to nearly all medical schools in Canada and the United States. The MCAT is written by the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) and tests students’ knowledge of topics like the biological and social sciences, along with analytical reasoning, reading comprehension, and problem-solving skills. The GRE and MCAT test some of the same major content areas, but there are crucial differences between them. In this article, we’ll go over the main components and characteristics of each exam. The Major Differences Between the MCAT and the GRE Here’s an overview of the major differences between the exams in terms of purpose, length, format, cost, and other basics. GRE MCAT Purpose Admission to graduate schools, including master’s degree programs and doctoral programs, primarily in North America Admission to medical schools in North America, Australia, and the Caribbean Islands Format Computer-based test Computer-based test Length About 3 hours and 45 minutes, including a 10-minute break About 7 hours and 30 minutes Cost About $205.00 About $310.00 Scores Maximum score is 340, with each section worth 170 points; Analytical Writing section scored separately from 0-6 118-132 for each of the 4 sections; total score 472-528 Test Dates Computer-based test offered throughout the year; paper-based test offered 3 times a year in October, November, and February Offered from January-September each year, usually around 25 times Sections Analytical Writing; Verbal Reasoning; Quantitative Reasoning Biological and Biochemical Foundations of Living Systems; Chemical and Physical Foundations of Biological Systems; Psychological, Social, and Biological Foundations of Behavior; Critical Analysis and Reasoning Skills The biggest overall content difference between the GRE and the MCAT is that the former tests primarily aptitude and skills, while the latter tests content knowledge as well.   Students who hope to do well on the MCAT will need to review concepts in subject areas like biochemistry, anatomy, physics, math, biology, sociology, and psychology. During the test, they will need to use that background knowledge in the natural, physical, and social sciences and apply it to answer questions. In contrast, the GRE is perhaps best described as a more advanced SAT or ACT. It tests cognitive aptitude and reasoning skills rather than specific background knowledge. There’s also a writing section in the GRE, which requires test-takers to write two analytical essays. Students looking to take this exam should practice writing GRE-style essays based on sample prompts. Finally, the MCAT is also around twice as long as the GRE, so it might be more difficult for you if you struggle with maintaining focus or cognitive endurance for long periods of time.   GRE vs. MCAT: Which Test Should You Take? Between the GRE and the MCAT, the MCAT is widely regarded as the more difficult of the two exams. It’s much longer and more focused on content knowledge than the GRE, which is more focused on general aptitude in certain areas. Many pre-med students say they take 300-350 hours to prepare for the MCAT. However, if you’re not as strong in writing or critical reading, if you’re a non-native English speaker, or have a somewhat limited vocabulary, the GRE may be more difficult for you.   Whether you should take the GRE or MCAT is ultimately dependent on where you’d like to go to school and your career path. Generally speaking, the GRE is more widely accepted and is used for admission to a wide variety of graduate schools, while the MCAT is specifically for admission to medical school.   If you aren’t sure yet whether you’d like to apply to medical school, it might be worth it to take the GRE and hold off on preparing for the MCAT at first. GRE scores are considered valid for five years, while MCAT scores are only considered valid for three. So you could potentially take the GRE first and wait to decide whether to take the MCAT. This could be a good move if you ultimately choose to go into a healthcare-related field, such as public health, rather than directly to medical school.   Another factor to consider is your potential career. Schools in certain specialty areas of medicine, such as veterinary medicine, might accept either the GRE or the MCAT from applicants. In that case, it may be better to take the GRE (unless you struggle with critical reading or writing), as it’s both less expensive and shorter.

How to Deal With Suckers and Watersprouts on Trees

In horticulture, the terms  sucker  and  watersprout  refer  to vigorous new shoots that grow from root stock or dormant bud tissue on trunks and branches. They are mostly a problem on fruit trees and some types of landscape trees. Suckers and watersprouts may occur on any tree when the tree has experienced stressful conditions, such as drought, severe pruning, or loss of a limb.   Watersprouts vs. Suckers Watersprouts and suckers are similar, but not exactly the same. They differ primarily in their location on the tree. A sucker is effectively a new propagation of a tree, but one that originates at the basil root level rather than by a seed. Suckers typically sprout up from below ground level, or very near the ground. They grow up as an extension of the roots. On grafted trees, such as many fruit trees, the sucker will sprout up below the level of the graft. If left to grow, the new tree will have the characteristics of the root stock tree, not the grafted stock. Such suckers should be removed when they appear. Certain species of trees typically propagate themselves through this type of reproduction, and suckers are also common on them. Privet and hazel trees are two such species. Here, too, suckers are considered invasive  and should be removed. Left unattended, suckers can gradually overtake a yard.   A watersprout is a form of shoot that originates above ground,  on the trees trunk or branches at the location of latent bud tissues. Watersprouts are very likely to arise in response to pruning or damage to the tree, such as branches broken off in storms. They are undesirable because the tissues in a watersprouts are not as strong as normal branches. In fruit trees, watersprout branches normally produce little, if any, fruit.   Sucker sprouts and water sprouts can sometimes provide clues to a  trees health. Both types of sprouts may indicate that there is injury or dead wood above the level of the sprouts. This is likely when a tree without a history of such sprouting begins to send out suckers and watersprouts. They are a compensatory mechanism, an attempt by the tree for to find vigor when it is not being provided by other vegetation.   How to Remove Suckers and Watersprouts It is best to remove suckers and watersprouts immediately. These shoots  divert energy from upper growth on the tree, and removing them will promote development  of the upper greenery. Suckers and watersprouts  can also quickly ruin the aesthetic appearance  of a tree.  Ã‚   Some care should be taken when removing suckers and watersprouts  to ensure clean edges. Tearing away sprouts can leave ragged edges where bacterial or fungus can take hold, so cutting them away with sharp tools is a better strategy.   Mix one part bleach and 10 parts water in a bucket.Dip your hand pruner or lopping shares into the bleach solution to sterilize the blades.  Cut away the sprout with the blade held at a 45- to 60-degree angle, as close as possible to the trunk, tree branch, or tree base. The goal is to cut inside any bud areas where new sprouts might emerge. Take care not to damage the trunk or main branch.   Where suckers or watershoots are extremely  prevalent, or when they appear suddenly on a tree with no history of them, it may indicate a major problem with the tree.  Removal of the tree  may be your only solution when suckers are too numerous. You will then need to apply a brush killer to control the sprouts that may come up from the remaining stump.

Most health, family and infant related communities and services such as the American Academy of Pediatrics, American Medical Association, the World Health Organization, etc. support and promote breast-feeding infants. Their suggestion urges mothers to at least breastfeed for the first few days after giving birth even if they decide to bottle feed their infant(s), so that the infant(s) can get the health benefits from the mother s milk and also so that the mother can alleviate some of the pressure in her breasts from the milk production. What is assisted suicide? By definition, assisted suicide is suicide committed with the assistance of another person, usually a physician. This definition has changed slightly from the past. Assisted suicide used to be defined more as when a terminally ill patient would be assisted in their death by a doctor or physician. Risk Feasibility Analysis on Performance of Supply Chain

Question: Discuss about the Risk Feasibility Analysis on Performance of Supply Chain. Answer: Introduction At the time of planning for a potential project, it is required to base the decisions on accurate information. The feasibility analysis helps to determine the viability on the performance of the supply chain. In order to analysis the performance of the supply chain, it requires gaining accurate information based on a review of specifications, location as well as site visits, qualification of the supplier, licenses, and permits as well as economic analysis. The thesis statement is that more sophisticated is the feasibility analysis the companies used in the supply chain, the higher performance they achieve. Seuring and Gold (2012) stated that the risk of a supply chain is a probable happening of the incident as well as failure to seize opportunities to supply the customers in which the outcome effect into the financial loss for the whole supply chain. Risk within the supply chain may be poor perceived quality of their product as well as services and price volatility. The report is based on risk feasibility analysis on the performance of supply chain. Sometimes, the researcher faces challenges while doing a feasibility analysis of the risk to identify the level of performance within the supply chain. Recommendations are given in order to overcome the issues while doing feasibility analysis within a supply chain. Risk Feasibility Analysis on the Performance of Supply Chain In the existing world, the supply chain focuses on the changing markets with necessities such as competitive while carrying the goods on time, short cycle times, best quality as well as low costs (Chow et al. 2015). Managing the supply chain is the vital source of the competitive advantage. The field of the supply chain should be thoroughly researched, as it is a complex element, which requires feasibility analysis to be successful globally. The risk within the supply chain is understood as undependable resources as well as vague interruptions that create it, as well as the indecision, are explained by an interface between risk within suppliers as well as demand within the processes. The performance is the capability of the supply chain to present the products as well as services with good quality and in an instant while minimizing the cost (Chen and Wu 2013). While doing a feasibility analysis of the supply chain, it is required to consider the emerging element such as globalization to improve particular performance indicator. For each of the supply chain company, it is required to know the performance measures so that the company compares their standards with their competing chains. Within the supply chain, direct suppliers or consumers measure the performance of the entity individually. The overall performance of the supply chain is considered by the value represented by the product as well as service manufactured for the customer. Brandenburg et al. (2014) opined that the value of the customers consists of perceived benefits that the consumers experiences during consumption as well as from the quality of a product. The distinguish sacrifice consumer makes to capture the product, therefore, cost as well as life cycle cost emerges during the life cycle of the product. The feasibility analysis is done on the concept of customer value to interpret the performance of supply chain using some metrics (Frankel 2013). Firstly, a share of supply chain related cost. Secondly, a level of customer satisfaction. Thirdly, it is based on the customer service level such as on-time delivery, a frequency of quality problems as well as changes in consumer requirements. Supply Chain Risk Feasibility Analysis Within the supply chain, the risk is captured in various contexts such as a flow of materials, flow of information, assessment processes of cost as well as the performance of different independent organizations and therefore it affects the entire performance of supply chain. The supply chain projects cycle consists of three phrases such as feasibility, planning and design and supply chain management. Feasibility includes the outline of the project, feasibility study (Fernie 2014). Planning and design consists of bottom design, time, cost planning and work planning. Lastly, supply chain includes procurement, distribution, installation as well as testing. Investment within the supply chain requires a high sum of price with a high stage of uncertainty. High profits are achieved in order to reduce the uncertainty, which makes a good forecast as well as the feasibility study. The efforts to decrease uncertainty as well as the rise in project successfulness are needy on the proposed plan ( Wisner et al. 2015). The planning phase consists of the feasibility study that is the study to identify if the process of a supply chain is feasible or not the project is built with succeeds. The plan requires not only labors, but it also requires the cost to improve the identified risks within the supply chain. A decision that is taken based on the planning reduces the risk. The risks can make failure within the supply chain, operation as well as marketing of the product. Within the project cycle, the largest opportunity in order to lessen the total cost of the project is setting up as well as a feasibility study. Some the aspects that are inspected in the feasibility study are as follows: Market Aspect: The risks are difficult to reach the target market, unsatisfied customers for products or services and bad supply chain management. The feasibility analysis is done to perceive as well as satisfy the customers needs throughout products and services of selected target market that should be better than the competitors (Sodhi et al. 2012). The organization should build strong customer relationship to gain loyalty. The researcher should identify the specific customers those are willing to buy propose products. It is done through market segmentation. Management Aspect: The employees those are involved in the field of the supply chain have the lack of knowledge about the use of supply chain management system. The organizational feasibility analysis includes information about the professional background of the founders; employees involved in the supply chain, as well as the type of skills, contribute to the business (Colicchia and Strozzi 2012). This feasibility study is conducted to involve the infrastructure capability in order to achieve as well as sustain process improvement. Technological Aspect: The technical risks are imprecise technology in operation and supply chain phase. There are a limited number of human resources in order to support investment in a supply chain. There are also unsupported facilities, location as well as a lack of IT infrastructure in the supply chain. A feasibility study is done on the location to show the distance of the proposed project from their competitors with a supply of raw materials and communication facilities (Chen and Wu 2013). The researcher should examine if the organization should follow the proper IT infrastructure for their supply chain management. Then, it is possible to assess whether its supply chain performance is technically feasible or not. Financial Aspect: The financial risks are that there is a fluctuation in the foreign currency, high overhead cost, and excess investment in a supply chain. Feasibility analysis is done to determine the cost that is involved in the supply chain management of the organization. The market survey should be done to supply information about the sale price that could be attained for a new product (Fernie 2014). Therefore, feasibility analysis assists the entrepreneur to compute the predictable income, spending as well as gross profit. If the gross profit indicates that the proposed supply chain processing business is successful, then the financial manager should calculate the monthly gross margin for one to three years. Social and Cultural Aspect: The investment plan within supply chain does not influence in increasing the surrounding citizen welfare and influence in exchanging people behavior. The intended target group does not knowledge about the supply chain. After the feasibility analysis, it is identified that an extensive supply chain management system is required. Even experience with supply chain training is suggested (Seuring and Gold 2012). The cultural feasibility contracts with the compatibility of the planned project with cultural set up of the supply chain environment. The social feasibility addresses the identified influences that the proposed system may have on the social system. Figure 1: Feasibility Assessment Process in five areas (Source: Seuring and Gold 2012, pp-547) Issues in Risk Feasibility Analysis The reasons behind this risk feasibility analysis in order to measure the performance of supply chain are that it gives new opportunities through the investigation process. It enhances the probability of success in order to address as well as mitigate factors that could affect the supply chain management of the organization. However, sometimes, the feasibility analysis is critical when it invests into the new business, invests in new technology as well as operating approaches, entering into high competitive market segment as well as investing into new supply chain process (Colicchia and Strozzi 2012). Time is a factor while conducting the feasibility analysis, therefore, if the analysis is conducted too quickly, then there is a chance of errors that leads to failure of the project. Another issue arises when the hire of the expertise for doing the market, financial as well as technical analysis has a lack of skills as well as knowledge in this field. Selection of the best expertise to conduct the feasibility study in only one area should be problematic if the project crosses the boundaries of specialization. Therefore, a hiring of individual expertise for each of the areas should be expensive. It increases the operational cost of the organization and results into increase in estimated financial amount (Avelar-Sosa, Garca-Alcaraz, and Castrelln-Torres 2014). It gives an impact on the performance of the supply chain. Recommendations Recruitment of best expertise: The best approach is to hire the expertise with a mix of required skills from financial to market analysis to sustainability. After the recruitment of the experts, training is given to them so that they can easily handle the supply chain management system efficiently. Estimation of proper price to conduct feasibility analysis: The cost of the feasibility analysis depends on regulations, market trends, the scope of the project as well as competition. As the managing of supply chain within the organization varies with complexity as well as scope, therefore the management is suggested to estimate the cost. The management should balance between cost and quality of supply chain to get a competitive advantage. Use of technology to raise the performance of supply chain: Technology is used to raise the performance of the supply chain within the organization. It is required to use a supply chain management system so that it overcomes with the error of entering the data into the system. All the details of the supply of raw materials are entered properly. Conclusion It is concluded that the risk feasibility analysis is required to identify the risks with the supply chain. It evaluates the potential for success of an organization. The five areas of the feasibility study are technical, market, management, social and cultural as well as financial aspects. The technical feasibility assesses the technical resources available to the supply chain. The financial helps the organization to assess the cost and benefits. The management requires assessing the requirement of employees and experts; market depends upon the target customers to use the supply chain of the organization. Social and cultural feasibility plans with cultural set up of the supply chain environment and addresses the recognized influences that the future system may have on the social system. The performance of the supply chain is measured so that the organization offers a good quality of products as well as services while minimizing the cost. Recommendations are suggested as to recruitme nt of best expertise, use of technology and estimation of accurate financial cost in order to conduct the feasibility analysis. Computer Crime Essays (1088 words) - Cybercrime, Cyberwarfare, Fraud

Computer Crime In today's society our most valuable commodity is not grain, steel or even technology; it is information. Because of computer networks, just about everyone can now access an astounding range of information. The Internet is international, even though 80 percent of the Internet use occurs in the United States, and a staggering amount of information on every subject imaginable is available for free. Because so many people now have access, computer crimes have become more frequent. Everyone with a computer and a modem can commit a computer crime if so inclined. Anyone, conceivably, could become a "white collar" computer criminal. When the term "white collar" crime came into wide spread use several decades ago, it was thought that certain crimes were committed by persons whom no one would normally suspect of criminal behavior: professional, "white collar" workers. In the late 1990's, however, the term "white collar" is somewhat inaccurate. The playing field has been leveled by the widespread use of computers. Now "white collar crime" tends to mean simply"non violent crime" or "economic crime." As technology becomes increasingly accessible to more and more people, it also becomes a potential tool for increasing numbers of criminals. Most computer crimes do not involve violence but rather greed, pride, or play on some character weakness of the victim. They are based on dishonesty and not force. For these reasons, computer crimes are considered white collar. Just as the term "white collar crime" designates several kinds of crime, the term computer crime also designated several types of crime. It includes crimes that are committed with a computer, crimes that occur in cyber space, and crimes committed against a computer. Some of the crimes are completely new; while others are older crimes that merely use the computer as a tool. The endless and constant growing variety of computer crimes makes it difficult to pass laws that adequately cover new computer crimes. Some crimes such as embezzlement, wire fraud, and forgery, are already covered under existing law. Others, such as cyber vandalism, cyber terrorism, and cyber espionage, are relatively new. For these newer crimes, the letter of the existing law sometimes does not allow prosecution of what clearly is criminal behavior. Employees and ex-employees of the victimized company commit most "white collar crimes". Likewise about 75 to 80 percent of prosecuted computer crimes are committed by current or former employees. There are many different kinds of computer crimes ranging from identity theft to sexual harassment to otherwise ordinary "white collar" crimes that happen to involve a computer. The most common form is online theft and fraud. Phreaks, crackers, and sometimes hackers illegally access and use voice mail, e-mail, and network access accounts-which constitute toll fraud or wire fraud. Long distance access codes are in great demand by the hackers, crackers, phone phreaks and street criminal. Some cyber-criminals obtain the codes by "shoulder surfing" or looking over the shoulder of unwary people in phone booths. One reason that this is a common is a common form of crime among hackers and phone phreaks is because they tend to run up enormous phone bills pursuing their hobbies for 10 ? 12 hours a day. Others obtain the codes from "pirate" electronic bulletin boards, where they are posted in exchange for free software, credit card numbers or other information. Software piracy is another growing and seemingly insurmountable problem. It is illegal under American Copyright Laws, but most software piracy actually takes place overseas. Federal copyright laws are often insufficient even to prosecute United States citizens, as illustrated by the now famous case of David La Macchia. La Macchia, a student at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, distributed free software through a bulletin board service on a M.I.T computer. After a FBI probe La Macchia was indited on 1994 for conspiracy to committee fraud. The software he offered reportedly had a total value of over one million dollars, but La Macchia argued that he had not distributed the software for financial gain and therefore could not have violated the federal copyright laws. The case was dismissed. One of the most freighting computer crimes is identity theft. This kind of fraud is much easier than it was once, because a wealth of personnel information is available online for free, and even more personal information is available for a small fee. Now that drivers license numbers are also stored on computers, which a re usually part of a larger network, a persons physical characteristics-eye color, height, and persons physical characteristics-are also available. Magnetic strips on credit cards and ATM cards require computers to read

Hydrogen Fuel How Hydrogen Can Be Used to Propel a Vehicle

Hydrogen Fuel How Hydrogen Can Be Used to Propel a Vehicle Abstract Hydrogen is the simplest element with only a single proton in each atom. Hydrogen also makes the most abundant gas in the universe and this makes its new use for propelling vehicles viable. It can be produced through steam reforming or electrolysis.Advertising We will write a custom report sample on Hydrogen Fuel: How Hydrogen Can Be Used to Propel a Vehicle specifically for you for only $16.05 $11/page Learn More Steam reforming is cheap but releases green house gases, while electrolysis is expensive with no emissions. Hydrogen fuels can be used to make fuel cells, which convert chemical reactions into electrical energy. This energy can be stored and used to power electric motors and thus propel vehicles. Introduction Most vehicles that use our roads utilize fossil fuels, and with the likely changes due to climatic change and the gradual global warming, studies have shown that use of alternative fuel could propel our vehicles. Among the fuel tested in alternative energy is electricity and hydrogen, among others. The latter being an energy carrier as the former, which is secondary energy source. Hydrogen is useful as a source of compact energy in batteries and fuel cells. Several companies are making their way into hydrogen fuel and are continually trying out ways of efficiently exploiting its potentials. This paper will try to explore how hydrogen can be used to propel a vehicle (Fueleconomy, 2011, p. 1). Process Hydrogen refers to the simplest element with only a single proton for each atom. Hydrogen also makes the most abundant gas in the universe and this makes its new use viable. The sun is considered as a giant ball consisting of helium and hydrogen gases. A process called fusion is believed to occur at the sun’s core to give off radiant energy. Hydrogen, being an energy carrier is separated from gas molecules, biomass, or water by steam reforming as well as electrolysis. An example of hydrogen production process is as shown below (Alternative Energy, 2011, p. 1-3). Advertising Looking for report on natural sciences? Let's see if we can help you! Get your first paper with 15% OFF Learn More Source: Alternative Energy Steam reforming is the most cost effective method of producing hydrogen and is estimated to account for about 95% of hydrogen produced, in the U.S. It separates hydrogen from methane, although this results in green house gases, which is faulted for global warming. On the other hand, electrolysis does not create emissions, but is very expensive. New technologies such as nanotechnologies are currently being tested for efficiency and cost reduction (Alternative Energy, 2011, p. 1-3). Machine Most hydrogen produced in the United States is usually used for refining metals, treating metals as well as in food processing. However, its use has shifted to energy fuel, beginning with NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration). It has severally been utilize d in space programs to lift space shuttles. In addition, its fuel cells have been used to power electrical systems of the shuttles (Alternative Energy, 2011, p. 1-3). Hydrogen fuel cells can be used to produce electricity, and these can power electric cars. Currently, there are over 300 hydrogen-powered vehicles in States, the majority of which are automobiles and buses powered through electric motors. They store and convert hydrogen liquid or gas into electricity for use as a fuel cell. In the process, no pollution is released to the atmosphere (Alternative Energy, 2011, p. 1-3). Object To explore how hydrogen fuel can be used to power a vehicle and to determine its viability. Theory Hydrogen is the simplest atom with one proton, and forms the majority gas in space, it is very light and this accounts for its existence in compound. The sun is believed to consist of hydrogen and helium gases. Until recently, hydrogen has been tested as a fuel cell for Aviation in the United States, a nd produced for use as a refining, treating and processing agent.Advertising We will write a custom report sample on Hydrogen Fuel: How Hydrogen Can Be Used to Propel a Vehicle specifically for you for only $16.05 $11/page Learn More Hydrogen is produced by either steam reforming method or electrolysis. The latter is very expensive but creates no pollution to the environment while, the former is cheap but pollutant. Over 95% of hydrogen produced in the United States is done through steam reforming, which separates hydrogen from hydrocarbons of methane. This results in the release of green house gases, which is faulted for global warming (Alternative Energy, 2011, p. 1-3). The United States produces around nine million metric tons of hydrogen every year. Such amounts of hydrogen are capable of serving between twenty and thirty million vehicles. The States of California, Texas and Louisiana leads the pack in hydrogen production. Fuel cells made from hydrogen mix with oxygen, and the resulting product is electricity and water as well as heat. Electric cars can therefore be powered by these hydrogen fuel cells. The fuel cells are usually compared to batteries as they have the capability of converting chemical reaction energy into electricity. As long as hydrogen is supplied, fuel cells will keep producing electricity. These fuel cells are usable in propelling vehicles as they power electric motors (Alternative Energy, 2011, p. 1-3). Concept Hydrogen is mostly found in compound forms, and is readily abundant in the atmosphere. It is formed through the process of either steam reforming or in some cases, electrolysis. Once produced, it can be used to create electricity through fuel cells, which convert chemical reaction to electricity. The fuel cells can then power electric motors, thereby propelling electric vehicles (EnergyKids, 2011, p. 1). Technical explanation To propel an electric vehicle, the motors need to be powered. Moreover, to po wer the motors, we need mechanical energy, which can be created by electric energy. Electric energy is generated and stored in batteries, and since hydrogen fuel cells serves this purpose, Hydrogen fuel cells can be used to power electric motors, which in turn propel vehicles. In essence, hydrogen powered fuel cells provides the energy required to propel the vehicles. Since hydrogen can be produced without emissions, and the process of propelling a vehicle produces no emissions, hydrogen fuel is environment friendly (EnergyKids, 2011, p. 1).Advertising Looking for report on natural sciences?
